Phone connected to ATA rings periodecally

Hi,

I have a very strange problem with my ATA, when I sent it up, the phone starts to ring when the device is registered, when I answer I get dial tone, I hang up it starts to ring after less than a minute, and so on.

Please help

Check if the particular ATA uses ringing as a message waiting indicator (MWI), ie. to indicate a voicemail message waiting to be listened to.
