SPA3102 query

Hi,
Couple of queries about SPA ATAs, if anyone is familiar with them.

The SPA 3102 (and others) has a NAT mapping on/off setting in the line tab. It is default ON, is this correct or desirable if you are already behind a NAT router (double NAT ?).

I have one 3102 that will not register to pbxes.org, but no problem using 88.198.18.239. This unit also appears most frequently in the system log (registration 'expires in 120 secs') compared to the other ATAs which appear now and again.

I am unable to physically swap units at the moment as it is remote. Anyone come across this before ?
Regards
Ron

RE: SPA3102 query

Hey Ron,

• Do you have remote access to the web interface of the SPA in question?
• What firewall is it behind?

RE: SPA3102 query

Hi,
Yes, I have access to the web interface.
It is wireless connected to my Vigor 2820n (just like the PAP2s),
Ron

Update
I have switched the NAT off in the SPA3102 line tab (and all other ATAs), along with the NAT support parameters on the SIP tab.
STUN is on, and SIP signalling ports forwarded across the router to individual ATAs.

Result - no more random unregistering/registering or other odd effects. Works for me !

Regards
Ron
