Linksys SPA941 failed to register

I fail to register my Linksys SPA941 to pbxes.org
I did a reset to factory settings and but still registration failed.

I did register without any difficulty to OTHER SIP providers.

I would be gratefull for any help that can solve my problem.

Is the SPA-941 the only SIP User Agent in your network?

Although the Advanced option on the above URL is not accessible, from the basic options I can see, change the Proxy to www5[.]pbxes[.]com without the [] brackets, and clear the Display Name field, as well as the Auth ID field.

Let us know if it registers with these changes, otherwise enable the Advanced section of its' web interface.

There is a second user agent on the same router but with port 4500 :
Telephone Gigaset 475IP
account: glb1959-302
port : 4500
It works fine.

I made the changes ;
Ext.1 : account glb1959-334
now the Extension registers but :
no incoming calls : get busy signal
outgoing calls : yes but no voice in both directions.
Ext. 2 on Voipcheap works OK .

To eliminate possible interference, please unplug the Gigaset from the network, for the duration of the tests.

On the SPA-941, set the SIP Port on Ext 1 to 5062 and 5063 on Ext 2. Remove the EXT SIP Port from Ext 1.

If the SPA is behind a firewall, enable STUN near the bottom of the SIP tab, and enter a valid STUN Server in the appropriate field.

Let us know what the result is.

I did some further investigations and connected the SPA941 phone to another router Dlink DSL-2740B/EU and it works fine.

It does not work with the router US Robotics Wless MAXg ADSL2+ Gateway w Printer Server Annex-A ROHS (USR809108A) also with STUN enabled.

I will have a closer look to it in the next weeks.

In that case, the US Robotics router must be running a SIP ALG, which conflicts with the STUN client of the SPA.

Try to disable the STUN client of the SPA to see if the ALG will work properly. If it doesn't work, try to disable the SIP ALG in the router while you enable the STUN client in the SPA.
