Passing '*' to a trunk

How can I pass '*' character to a trunk?
If I just dial *123 or **123 only 123 reaches trunk, asterisks are gone.

You should use the "Outbound Dial Prefix" in the Trunk configuration, since whatever is in this field gets past to the Trunk without any alteration.
