freephonie.net and ALL CIRCUITS ARE BUSY

Hi,

I am using french SIP account (Free, SIP SERVER = freephonie.net) and when I initiate an outgoing call I get the following messages: All circuit are busy right now...
1) would be possible to have a french message and not english message (of course I set up french in my profile)
2) If I am using a standard Asterisk server my SIP provider recommand the following set-up in my sip.conf files specially for freephonie.net domain:
[general]
defaultexpirey=1800

I think 'all circuit are busy...' and DEFAULTEXPIREY are the same problem, would be possible to add this parameter for all user who are using a freephonie.net SIP SERVER in France?

Regards

Richard

Hi Richard,

Can you please confirm that your provider is http://www.free.fr

If they are, have you confirmed with them that you can use their service as a SIP trunk without using their supplied FreeBox?

Hi

I confirm we can use SIP account from free.fr.
There are limitations, we can only call PSTN number (no cellular or no international call)

Regards

Richard

RE: freephonie.net and ALL CIRCUITS ARE BUSY

1) The message is only available in English.
2) I don't think the parameter has anything to do with the problem.

Hi,

Thank you for your repply.
I found thiw week were is the problem.
It was not a problem with Trunk (freephonie.net) but it was a problem with 'outbound routing'.
I deleted all outbound route and I create them manually and now it work perfectly! :-)
it's strange because at the begining problem I got this problem randomly and last week it was systematically.
But now it work !
Would be possible for you to customise sip.conf file for freephonie.net domain the following parameter:
[general]
defaultexpirey=1800
Free/freephonie is a very popular ADSL provider in France and they recommand to use this parameter to use SIP account.

Richard

Fragezeichen RE: freephonie.net and ALL CIRCUITS ARE BUSY

There are no internal settings for specific providers, at least not up to now. It should only be introduced if there is a problem without. Doesn't your provider comply to the SIP standard?

The parameter you mention is for inbound calls. A possible issue without the setting could be loose of inbound calls half an hour after pressing the red bar. Do you observe anything like that?

hi

at this time i am not using incoming call for freepphoniet.net but i am using another SIP provider.
If i request to your support(optimisation service) to include this option in the web interface would be possible?

regards

richard

RE: freephonie.net and ALL CIRCUITS ARE BUSY

We don't think that the parameter is required for PBXes. Please check incoming calls first before asking for the parameter to be included.
