New Problems Post Reply with Quote Edit/Delete Post Report Post to a Moderator       IP Information Go to the top of this page

These are the new problems that have appeared today

1) Inbound calls are being routed to a destination other than specified, and do not appear in call logs. After hours of work, I determined that these calls are going to a difffferent PBX and are being routed there even though there is no such inbound route nor trunk specified. I suspect perhaps it may also be related to the fact that the same Server is registering as an extension on the PBX as well as sending DID, and providing trunks to the PBX

2) no matter whether dialing an extension or an outside line I am more frequently greeted with a fast busy signal

These frustruations are only the most recent in a long chain of frustrations. It seems every weeek there are new issues.

This is the San Diego Server

We've done only minor changes today.

When you have tracked down already that calls are going to the wrong PBX I must warn you: Never use more than one PBXes account for the same extension. The system is not designed for this. It is written in the FAQs and also in the terms of service.

The fast busies you observe are most likely caused by your extremely huge routing tables (150+ pages!).
